The RISD Museum is the largest museum in Rhode Island and is visited by a very wide age range of people. Looking around the musuem I wondered how an intervention could encourage people to break the norm of museum behavior. In the glass bridge connecting wings of the museum I proposed that the floor be covered with bubble wrap, forcing all museum goers to become dancers and performers. Those outside of the museum would be unable to see the reason for the strange behavior further amplfying the strange personas people take on within the context of the museum. This would also give passerbyers a reason to stop by the museum to see what was happening.
